Rep. Hopson urges all motorists and parents to be extra cautious on our streets and highways, especially around school zones.
“In observance of School Bus Safety Week, I urge all motorists to drive with extra caution. Be on the look out for children and school buses, and be extra careful as our streets become more congested with both vehicular traffic and children, especially when you are around our school campuses, in surrounding neighborhoods, or on busy streets when there is more activity with children loading or unloading buses. Most importantly, I remind motorists, young and old, to practice safe driving habits, not only during this one given week of the year, but every day of the year,” said Rep. Hopson.
