Veterans
Chuck has always maintained that veterans deserve our sincerest thanks and gratitude for their service to our country. During the 81st legislative session, Chuck was delighted to have the opportunity to cast a vote in support of HB 3613, which provides disabled veterans with a partial exemption from their residential property taxes based on their disability rating.
80th Legislature
HB 233 Relating to a waiver or reduction of concealed handgun license fees for certain members and veterans of the military.
79th Legislature
HB 322 Relating to concealed handgun licenses for members and veterans of the United States armed forces, including a member younger than 21 years of age.
HB 1076 Relating to waiving hunting and fishing license fees for certain military personnel.
HB 1170 Relating to the award of higher education course credit for the completion of certain military training and to readmission to a public institution of higher education of students who withdraw to perform active military service.
