Protection of our East Texas environment remains a high priority for Chuck. He has focused on passing legislation that will safeguard East Texas aquifers, and he remains committed to developing policies that protect the environment without discouraging economic growth.

SB 1360 – Relating to the deadlines for commencement and completion of the Lake Columbia reservoir project.

HB 3861 – Relating to the financing by the Texas Water Development Board of the proposed Lake Columbia reservoir project.
